Lot 109 - “Beyond the Dunes”

This breathtaking painting captures the serene beach side of Wellfleet, MA. Susan LeHan is a resident artist who has lived in Darien for eighteen years with her husband, Larry, and their three children, Sarah, Katherine and Will. Her interest in painting began when she was in college and was recently rekindled as a result of further training and her putting brush to paper once again. A native of the Boston area, she and her family spend as much time as they can on Cape Cod and Nantucket, which provide inspiration and endless subject matter for her work. Her work has been exhibited at Darien Donut, The Darien Arts Council and at charity auctions in Connecticut and Massachusetts. (This painting is approximately 27x33 and set in a wooden frame).

For the thrill-seeker ride along as a passenger at the historic Lime Rock Park race track in Lakeville, CT during the 2014 racing season. A typical session consists of around 20 cars on track for 20 minutes. The winning bidder will need to make arrangements with the donor for a mutually agreed upon date. The dates are set by the race track and the winner bidder will have to select from the available dates. A backup date should be selected in case of poor weather or other uncontrolled instances.
